Oversees the financial management and compliance of MEF. Generally meets monthly and members assist with special projects.
Provides assurance of accountability by MEF and all its member organizations. Develops and promotes ongoing and consistent communications between MEF, its member organizations and the constituencies of its member organizations. Generally meets monthly and members assist with special projects.
Solicits, vets and recommends candidates to serve on the MEF board and on MEF committees and identifies board members to serve as officers on the Executive Committee. Governance is also part of the role of this committee. Meets according to annual action plan, about six times a year, and members assist with recruitment.

Marketing Task Force
Increases awareness of and support for MEF with key audiences – new and current donors and new and current workplaces – and ensures effective communication about the issue impact of giving and volunteering with MEF. Assists with creating a communications plan to promote MEF’s mission, shaping MEF planning and budget, training member and board volunteers and reviewing communications. Meets as needed to support strategic priorities.
New Private Workplace Advisors
Provide strategic direction for cultivation and solicitation of new private workplace partners to increase giving and volunteering for MEF through payroll deduction campaigns and other employee and workplace giving. Assist with defining specific workplace strategies and cultivating priority workplaces. Meet as needed to support strategic priorities.
Workplace Volunteerism/Green Team Advisors
Provide strategic direction about the types of volunteerism and/or green team services likely to increase employee engagement and participation in workplace giving campaigns or programs that may be administered as fee for service with workplaces. Meet as needed to support strategic priorities.
